Writing with a pre-determined song title

I dont know how everyone else feels...
but personally when I write... I dont make a title... then write lyrics

I prefer to write my lyrics, and work them around to come up with a set i am happy with, THEN I think of a title to match the song

I feel that personally... this just gives me more freedom while writing... and having a pre-set title can dampen my creative flow... because i keep thinking about the title.

This can also make chosing the title a bit easier because there is already a general theme in the lyrics to which the title will be linked with.

Or, in the past, i have even just chosen my favourite powerful couple of words from within the lyrics themselves, and used them as the title

however... i must stress... this is simply what I find helps me personally... different people work in different ways... so I am NOT saying you SHOULD do this... it's just if you are struggling, and like what im saying... maybe it is worth a shot
