My Grandfather

I am also the grand-daughter of Harry Edelheit. He wrote the lyrics for the song and is in the book of ASCAP. He sold all rights to Benny Davis. The posting before me is from my sister. I also have the original sheet music plus the demo. Shame on anyone who would take the credit for this memorable song. P.S. He also wrote the song, If you Had All The World and its Gold, sung by Perry Como. Get the facts straight.

His name was Sol Sax (I think the real spelling is Sachs)
Not a blood relation to me. Great piano player and composer - never got his due!

Harry Edelheit was the lyricist for the song Baby Face. Look in the book ASCAP. All rights were sold to Benny Davis in the early 50's. I know this because I am his grand-daughter and I have the original sheet music.
