Unobtainable (Engaged tone) Lyrics Critique

by Damien
(UK)

This is a dark kinda grungey tune (and please folks i'm not some mad stalker type, just wanted to try and express a broken relationship in a darker way)

Quite quick tempo with slower harmonic sound for chorus I think?
.............................................

Just pick up,please answer, lets rekindle the old spark,
This noise is just annoying now and the streetlights make things dark.
I have things I have to tell you and Things I need to break,
The fact you think I'm vermin is surley a mistake?
I seen you with him yesterday, you cant be happy anymore,
Why did you wear that dress today and why'd you lock the door?
You took that drive despite me, in that shiny big black car,
Dont you both look tiny when I view you from afar?
Our song it was still playing, I so want to be there,
But I scower my bedroom carpet just to find a single hair.
The rain its getting harder, will disapointment make me bold?
And dont you worry Bout me coz I'm really not that cold.

chorus

We fear the same things, you must be home?

It's clear your not really on the phone?

I hear the painful metronome

Of the engaged tone..........of the engaged tone.

I will return you're T shirt and repair the washing line,
But I took it home and washed it, and now it smells like mine.
I tried to read your e mails but it wouldn't let me through,
Your quick to change you're password but you're facebook has one too.
I think I called your mother,I'm sure I told her all you'd done,
And told her that I'd fuck her, just like you, she aint no fun!
She told you "leave this city", "go somewhere you cant be found!"
You'd think I'd fucking stabbed you,not just punched you to the ground!?
Was he angry bout the big black car, it really was a mess,
I can pay for all the damage with your american express.
I tried to call your mobile and i just cant catch you home,
But If you wont fucking answer............ You should just leave me alone!?

We fear the same things, you must be home?

It's clear your not really on the phone?

I hear the painful metronome

Of the engaged tone..........of the engaged tone.

Break

I told myself that your just not worth it anyway!

We fear the same things, you must be home?

It's clear your not really on the phone?

I hear the painful metronome

Of the engaged tone..........of the engaged tone.
