Thank you for creating this website. I have a lot of lyrics in my head, in my journals, notebooks, etc. about my experiences and I want to get them published. Your website answered my burning questions, "Where do I start?" and "How do I get this going?". Your links are helpful and I plan on buying a couple of books. I too want to do something I enjoy and expresses my creativity versus going to work just to "make it". Wish me luck and I'll let you know if I have any success.

It's comments like yours that keep me going; knowing that I'm doing something that can be helpful to somebody out there. Thanks for your kind words.

As a songwriter, I naturally enjoy writing songs, but I also like writing about my passion, hence this songwriting website. I think everyone should make a living from their passions instead of going out and getting a job, "just to make it".

It's also very important to learn as much as you can about your craft. Songwriting books, ebooks, courses, etc. are a great way to educate yourself. No matter how much you know, you can always learn something new.

Here's wishing you lots of success in all your endeavours.
