Songwriting Help??

Hey, i need help, me and my friends, Danielle, Sarah and Vicii have started our own group and we're finding it a tough job writing songs, Sarah is really good at it, but i would like to participate in the whole songwriting process. I dont really have alot of experiances because im only 14years old, and i find it hard. Im inspired but artists such as, Miley Cyrus, McFly and the Jonas brothers. I think they are really talented songwriters but i dont understand, does it come naturally to them or do they have the same problem? I usually take some words from songs ive listened to but, its like conpyright isnt it? so i dont now what to do. Please Give me some avice.
