This is the first song I have ever written with the Guitar so its not that great wich is why im looking for some suggestions on how to improve it. It uses the chords E minor, C, G, and D with a capo on the third fret.

First verse:

Kind of young and sort of naive

Right off the ground and off of my feet
I thought I could trust you
But that was a mistake on my part
Cause you went behind my back that night
And broke my heart

And I was prepared to let you go
To let you know we were through
Till you said you were sorry
