Note: Room acoustics DO heavily affect the sound of the monitors, but the position of the monitors must be precise. Because sound is a wave (longitudinal wave to be precise), in certain positions the waves of the two speakers can interfere with each other and cause areas away from the monitors that are "dead spots", or places where the waves cancel out, and places where the waves add together. It is important to move the monitors around to find what positioning provides the best sound.
