How Site Build It! (SBI!) Allows Me To Make Money Following My Passion For Music

Site Build It! (SBI) and my passion for music.

This is the story of how a full time musician earns a good living on the Internet.

My name is Mantius Cazaubon and I am the creator of Ultimate Songwriting.com. I am a songwriter, artiste, keyboard player, composer, music producer, and the list goes on. I am a full time musician. Today, I have lots of time to focus on my true passion, music, thanks to a tool called Site Build It! (or SBI!). That tool allows me to share my musical knowledge with the world but frees me up at the same time. I am in charge of my time and can work on music projects whenever I want. This has helped me live my passion to the fullest.

I don't have to work a regular job just to pay the bills. I am very thankful for this because I know that many musicians are working 9 to 5 jobs when they would prefer making music. I am free to focus on my songwriting and compositions because money is not an issue any more. I make a great living on the Internet thanks to Site Build It!

The good thing is that my sites are all about musician related topics. I have sites on keyboards, guitars, microphones, saxophones, soca music and songwriting, topics in which I am fully interested. Topics that are second nature to me and every musician. This means that what I do never seems like work. I am really just going with the flow.

As an independent artiste, I can be called upon at anytime to do a show. It's so great to not be tied up to a job. It means that I am always available to travel for a performance. I don't have to request time off. And since I am making money, I can pick and choose the gigs I really want to do.

While I would love to get a major record deal, I understand that this is more difficult today than it ever was. I am happy to be making money whether or not that record deal comes.

Being a piano player, guitar player or bass player doesn't mean that you should only make money when you are playing. Being a songwriter doesn't mean that you should only make money off of royalties. Being a producer doesn't mean that the money stops as soon as you stop producing music. You can share your knowledge with the world and make money off of it. That knowledge which you take for granted, that knowledge which is so natural to you is worth a lot. Site Build It! can teach you the exact steps you need to take to make money off your passion.

Malcolm Forbes said that the biggest mistake people make in life is not trying to make a living at doing what they most enjoy. I truly believe this. I believe you should follow your passion and success will follow you. I refuse to do anything that does not center around my passion. Life is too short to waste it doing things I don't want to do. It's my love for music that has led me to create 7 music-related websites to date.

I know nothing about the technical aspects of building a website. I am a musician. I'm thankful for the way in which Site Build It! makes it easy to share music information online. It's the perfect tool for musicians like me who don't want to deviate from their path. Thanks to Site Build It! I don't have to focus on HTML, CSS and all that technical stuff. I can remain a musician.

Generating income from a web site is in many ways similar to earning income from royalties. You work once and get paid forever. I am still earning money from articles I wrote on this site 6 years ago and will continue to do this for years and years to come. This is known as passive income. Like in the case with royalties from a song you wrote, a website earns you money even when you're no longer working on it.
