Routine - songwriting critique

by D
(PA)

Verus 1:
They both think they know
Could they try to agree
Find the common points between
Before this all turns to high sea

Chorus:
Stop with the routine
And try to be seen
This is the way it is going to
Be

Verus 2:
Tell me are we always
Going to disagree
Or can we try to work together

Why do they always
Think in opposites
Maybe they should try
Not to be that way

Chorus:
Stop with the routine
And try to be seen
This is the way it is going to
Be

Stop with the routine
Stop with the routine
Stop with the routine
Stop with the routine

I'm honestly confused. I have no idea what the song is about. I might just be stupid. But if you could comment back and tell me, that's be great. If I know what it's about I can make a better evaluation of the song.
