I am a Recording and Mixing Engineer based out of Temple Texas. I have recorded many different styles of music from Alternative Rock to Country to Hip-Hop. My strength is in live bands, If you have a sound...I want to capture it. I myself am a multi-instrument musician, so I know the importance of feeling comfortable in the studio. When I start a new project I like to get to know the musicians on a some what personal level, so that we can get the best out of each other. I make it my goal to capture the overall feeling and emotion of what the band is doing. I want to mic up everything I possibly can, then go back and add what we need to, all the while staying true to the sound, dynamics, and emotion of the track. Today there are many tools out there in the audio world....the trick is to not overuse them to the point that your music doesn't breath.
