question, drum machine/mpc vs sequencer softwares

i guys am actualy building a well defined home studio, and I really thank you for the tips they are just priceless because when we dont know nothing we can think to spend so much money unecesssary. my question is just as follow: do I have to get a MPC OR DRUM MACHINE, even if I have a Squencer software? thanks regards

I Recommend and MPC

Hi, I am a studio engineer in Toronto and recommend the MPC. Simply because, the MPC is a drum machine but most other drum machines don't work like an MPC. Most of the songs you hear on the radio use MPCs because you can load samples of live drums and percussions and build your drum tracks on your MPC.

Most samplers do recognize MPC samples so you don't have to try to figure out new sounds. The MPC also has multiple outputs if you are playing live or dumping to a studio for Mixing.

Recording Studio For Performance Tracks

Was the preamp included in the equipment listed? I am thinking about building a home recording studio. The only thing I want is to be able to record with performance tracks. I don't have a room large enough to go big time.

Thanks for any help offered. I am not very good at this kind of communication. Please excuse any flaws.
