Prava Recordings offers one of the most unique recording environments on the East Coast. We are housed in the same facility as Max Films (a leading producer of HD commercial and music videos) and Illusion Sound & Lighting (one of the leading companies providing staging and live audio services).

We use the industry standard Pro Tools LE8, capable of capturing 128 tracks with nearly 4000 plugins available to ensure we find the best sound for you. We offer an extensive microphone collection--everything from vintage ribbon microphones to the ever popular Neumann U-87 for vocals. We also make our large collection of modern & vintage guitars, basses and amplifiers available for our clients to use during their sessions. That along with our keyboards and studio drums means that many artists don't even bring their own equipment to our studio. We've got anything you could want right here.

We try in most cases to provide artists with the ability to record at "package" rates, meaning we don't charge by the hour. We believe that results in clock watching on the part of artists and engineers and leads to a sub-par recording in the end.
