I have some lyrics I think are good, but I am not musically inclined and cannot play an instrument, is anyone out there willing to help me work out some melodies?? Thanks
i know you're in a totally different country and i don't know what your situation is anymore, but i write songs myself and usually i can get a melody from reading lyrics :)

Different types of music by: Tom
Hello: I am in the same boat. I have tried to learn guitar, bass, and flute. Get a little ways,
and just stop. But the thing I'm really interested
in is building my home studio. It's been ready for
a couple months, and no one has come. Not sure about strangers in my house. So, I've been doing
test recordings with guitar and bass, with what little ability I have. But I found a different angle; electronic music. There are lots of things you can do with sound. I am a big fan of Tangerine
Dream. It's that type of music I want to do.
I'm experimenting with recording sounds like a timer, or water running, then taking that and through Audacity's effects, making sounds that are hard to decribe. The trick is to blend processed sounds together, and come out sounding good. Oh well, just a suggestion.
