There’s an old wooden church
On a back road
Not too far from where I used to live
It was there in Sunday school
Where I found Jesus
And learned about
How
God forgives

The preacher man would stand
By the alter
We’d sing, just as I am

Now the churches I attend
are so much bigger
Than that old wooden church near where I lived
but the Kids in Sunday school
Still find Jesus
And learn about

No matter where you are
