Never Give Up - (Writing a Song)

by Damo
(Delegate)

A good song can come various sources, whether it be a bird tweeting, a dog howling, even a car going past you, be open to everything that is around you, you'll surpise yourself.
Take the above example of the bird tweeting, pay attention the pitch, melody and harmonics, it will pay off.
Collaboration is a big one to, don't just think i'm fine by myself, if you have music and someone else has lyrics, see what will happen if you put them together, for all you know, you might like it.
Write from the heart is one that I use mostly. Come up with a simple chord pattern(it doesn't have to be complicated) and sing over it, spur of the moment is great way to write a song.
