So what is music transcribing all about? It is really the process of figuring out how to play and/or write out a piece of music starting with just a recording of the piece. While most classical music can be obtained in print form, it's not the same with non-classical music. You would have to listen to the piece of music and write down the dots for it.

So how much effort is involved in transcribing music? It all depends on how complex the piece of music is, how good your ears are, and how detailed you want your transcription to be. If your music is very complicated you may end up taking hours to transcribe a single minute of music. A person who doesn't have a good ear may take forever.

Thankfully, there is music transcribing software to make the transcribing task much easier and quicker. Many of these programs allow you to set multiple loop points and slow down the music without changing pitch, as well as various other functions.

Some of them even attempt to do all the work for you. While I admire their courage, my feeling is that they are not all that useful. They make too many mistakes when multiple notes and multiple instruments are involved.

But at the end of the day it's pointless trying to do everything yourself. Transcribing software will make the transcribing process faster and easier. Less hassles. You can order your software online today. Check out the various features, descriptions and reviews, and decide what is right for you.
