Moving On Lyrics Critique - not quite sure about genre yet, or the type of sound i'd like to give it

hey everyone(: this is one of the first songs i've ever fully written... it basically came from personal experiences with friends who truly weren't friends in the end, & just accepting that & letting go & moving on with life & the people I love.. let me know what you think!(:

As I lay down in bed,
Can't stop thoughts of things you've done from running through my head.
Brush them off, time & time again,
But even after everything, I know you'll do it all again.

Tears roll out containing memories,
I know it's time to make some boundaries.
It's time to break down this wall & find my voice,
it's my choice, yes it's my choice.

I must let go, to be strong,
Although it's the hardest thing i've ever done.
I know that you may think i'm wrong
But I know, yes I know i'm moving on.

Finally letting go,
and it lets me know that I am strong.
Gotta move on from the lies & the heartbreak
And show you that you were wrong.

To you, goodbye is the saddest word.
But to me, my thoughts are altered.
To me, goodbye means pushing forward,
And knowing there'll always be a better tomorrow.
