Mirror, Mirror - lyrics - pop/rock - critique

by Sandra
(Brisbane, QLD, AU)

There's no point in lying
To the mirror on the wall
You can never hide the truth
From the one who sees it all

Always seeing just who you are
And knowing where you've been
A million tiny grands of sand
Reflecting from within

Mirror mirror on the wall
Please tell me what you see
Show me now, the face of love
If it's meant to be

Don't bother with Prince Charming
In a coach that drawn by mice
Mirror, mirror, find a heart
That's not as cold as ice

You've shared my every secret
I know you've heard it all
You're the one I depend upon
To help me when I fall

Mirror mirror on the wall
Please tell me what you see
Show me now, the face of love
If it's meant to be

I can't take a chance on destiny
A path that's line with tears
How much longer must I wait
Until somebody hears

Don't cast another image
Of a heart that's not yet free
Tell me from the very start
If he's the one for me

Mirror mirror on the wall
Please tell me what you see
Show me now, the face of love
If it's meant to be

Very good feel the subject matter and themes behind it is clear, and that the constant rhythm really helps the audience. Though not the most poetic your ideas are displayed effectively. Very good.

Fantastic NEW

I loved it! You should make it longer though. I can hear it in a sort of raspy voice, like Rasputin by Boney M.
