I always think of a song as telling a story in a funky way.
Dig deep down into your heart and write down what you feel and what you believe in.
If you write about your own experiences then it can really bring the song to life. It'll also reach out and connect to your listeners
And great songwriters don't sit there trying to think of things to write. With great artists with REAL emotion it just comes to them and then the song is amazing!
