Keep ALL of your lyrics

Sometimes you come up with extra lyrics that you don't need in a song, or have some extra lyrics that you took out of another song. Well keep them! I know doing this has helped me write multiple songs simply by keeping some extra lyrics around that inspired me. Even if you don't use those lyrics, they can help you think of a whole new song!
