I'd Do Anything (Lyric idea. Need help!!)

This is a song I'm writing for my grandpa. A couple years ago, he almost died and so I'm writing a song about it. I've got one line for the first verse and a chorus. Suggestions/advice accepted and greatly appreciated!

This is a good start First what do you want to say. I'd guess that you want to say You would do anything for your Grandfather.
well this is what comes to my mind.

Someone help me understand
-I am doing all I can
-But it hurts me to see my grand pa in such pain.
-God if I'm asking too much
-I just know he needs your touch
- If you can't you don't have to explain

I'd do anything
To make you feel better
I'd do anything
To take your pain away
I'd do anything I could
to make you feel good
grand pa I do anything.
