Sitting here thinking about simpler time when people would stop by just to say hi

now all you can expect is mostly goodbye as the people move away to find a new job cuz that dam mine just had a big lay off

how stupid we are for planning on hope that some corporate man would keep us afloat I wish things were simple again
like when I was a little kid as time get hard and Americans lose hope all there dreams are lost just looking for what life really cost it’s on our tv radio and the papers again another lay off of hard working men .. man I really wish thing’s were simple again so tonite when I look into my daughter’s eye’s she say daddy I love you and then it’s like thing’s are simple again
