How to take Daily Life Experiences and turn them into Hits

by Alaina
(Oklahoma)

A normal day for me is boring and usually stuffed in my house, but since I spend more time on the computer listening to music and learning cool magic tricks, reading stories, and learning to draw help inspire me.

Let's say I wanted to write a song about about a circus and named it, for example, Twisted Big Top, then I could take something from drawings and magic tricks and use them.

I don't write alot, but when I do I really get in it. I don't have anything to make the music, so I just throw some lyrics on the page and pray I can get a keyboard.

The process for my writing is inspiration, title, main idea, verses, chorus, and even though it is a bad idea to some, I like to make my choruses almost opposite from the verses.

My songs stand out because I'm not a very calm person and can sing at insane speeds, and love to have fun and I put these in my songs. You could say I'm a tongue twister singer.

My best tips for writing your songs, don't take it like your life depends on it, just take it like a day at the fare, make it fun and exciting and just let yourself go, don't try so hard to make the lyrics rhyme, they don't HAVE to, but it makes them a little easier to remember, but it's very hard to rhyme them and have it sound good.

I am trying to get discovered and the only person who will even listen to my song ideas doesn't even say anything good about them, but I can't even afford a music teacher or even music classes at school, so whoever lucky people can do what I can't, you have a very good life and don't screw it up!!!!!
