How Me, a scottish 14 year old writes her songs

by Annabel
(Scotland)

i play guitar ...and so what i do is think up some simple chords..such as

G D AM C

play them over and over again and just start singing

any words ! it doesnt matter ! i meen i usually come out with stuff like " and the dog ran down the street"
but sooner or later words will start building up in your head ...and whenever you get a good line or verse or chorus ....

WRITE IT DOWN !
the most annoying thing is when you have something really good and absolutely brilliant..and then you forget it !

GOOD LUCK ;) x

I've lost a lot of ideas by not writing them down!
