How Charlie wrote his songs.

by Charlie

My songs comes from the heart. Cause I want my songs to touch people and relate to them. Ideas usually come from what my heart experiences, emotion or random uniqueness that don't go too often everyday. For example, the first I wrote this year, "volatile" it's about how this person is fading away from your life. Volatile is a scientific word for how a liquid easily changes to a gas. What inspires me the most would be love. Whether I experience it myself or watching a movie. Well mostly if I experience it. For a nineteen year old, I already experience a lot of things a 25 year old would go through. I usually go for lyrics I think, cause I always come up with the chorus first in my head then find the melody using my guitar. Process? Not much, ideas, match, write and then practice it, let it be a part of you. I guess what stands out about my songs is the title. I usually use weird words as my title, but actually relates to the content. Tips, would be, writing it alone sometimes cramps your head. Get some help every once in a while. Success? Well you're doing what you love, and I guess that's what makes it worthwhile.

Volatile is not when a liquid turns to gas. that is vaporize. however, if it is rapid enough it can be volatile, for example; an explosion.
