Breaking The Silence lyrics critique- pop punk/emo

by Jesse Packard
(Michigan USA)

V1: On the warm nights, when we felt that way

All the cold sweats, that we had that day

On the drive home, that we just could not explain

To the hotel, where it all began

In the room where, you held my hand

And you said that, we just couldnt stay this way

CH: Breaking the silence with those words

You said everything has to be this way

Standing still while the world goes on past

All your feelings you can kiss my

Ask me now about that night

Now that things have changed, since that night

V2: On the cold days when the lights were out

From the storm that we caused with doubt

All the feelings, they would seem to still remain

To the street where you would always be

I would count them, it was one, two, three

And I sit there, just to watch you walk away.

Like the genre.

All in all, pretty good.
Some of the lyrics are a bit repetitive, and not in the catchy way.
But it flows really well, and I like the chorus a lot.
Nice job!

Thanks man, I appriciate it. I only had V1 and a chorus done for like, a year haha. So i hurried up and finished it. Still got some things to work out. I just wanted to see what people thought of it, how it was now. Thank you for your comment and feedback!
