Borrowed Dreams

by Ted
(California)

I have a new song recorded I would like you to hear...as far as a tip the song comes from my own experience but changed enough to fit into a short story...your own life details is a good place to start writing from...it is more heart felt than a made up story...though that can work as well...don't limit yourself.......click here or copy and paste....the song is... Borrowed Dreams...

Thanks for listening...Ted...lyrics below

Living on Borrowed Dreams

(verse)
My heart fell through a crack in the ground
Dream living a life in someone else’s way
I can’t live my life on hold another day
Gonna get out you know I just can’t stay

(verse)
Went down to the annual health food fair
Just like you it wasn’t too much fun
I have to get out Girl from under your thumb
Now this is where I am coming from

(chorus)
Cause I’ve been living on borrowed dreams
Yeah I’ve been taking it to extremes
You’d have to care to know what I really mean
Cause I’ve been living on borrowed
Living on borrowed
Living on borrowed dreams

(verse)
You know we’ve been up and we’ve been down
Gone over things a couple a million times
Now I’m just a rhyme in another song line
I haven't been in rhythm or rockin in time

(chorus)
Cause I’ve been living on borrowed dreams
Yeah I’ve been taking it to extremes
You’d have to care to know what I really mean
Cause I’ve been living on borrowed
Living on borrowed
Living on borrowed dreams

(bridge)
And don’t I know that living your life
Is drying me up inside
Don’t want to live like this
So baby I had to decide
Now we both can dream and live our lives

(chorus)
Cause I’ve been living on borrowed dreams
Yeah I’ve been taking it to extremes
The time has come to make a brand new start
Cause I’ve been living on borrowed
Living on borrowed
Living on borrowed dreams

That song is awesome
It's one of those songs that touches more than the heart but makes it all the way to the soul.
I believe that each day there is something that makes getting up the day worth it, that song was it.
Is there anywhere that i can get my hands on that song I would love to be able to listen to it anywhere.
Truly an amazing song.
Keep it up dude.
