At The Gates Lyrics Critique- Metal song

by Martin Synan
(Co. Donegal, Ireland)

At The Gates (Written By Martin Synan)

This is a song I wrote about The Lord Of The Rings

(Slow intro)

There is a day when the world of men will fall, but it is not this day,
This day we fight!

(Pick-scrape up the fret-board into riff)

Verse:
Your malice/ unrelenting
Your mountain/ filled with doom
Your eye/ representing
The evil/ that is in bloom

Verse:
The master/ without the ring
The nazgul/ hear them scream
The sword/ crowns a new king
See another/ die!

Chorus:
The army is at your gates (clean)
You shall/ rule no more (growl)
Assembled, they seal your fate
Down will come Mordor (growl)

(slow pick-scrape down the fret-board into breakdown)

Sub verse:
A battle/ in the mountain
A fight amongst three
Betrayal/ to its master
The ring sets us free!

Erupt!
(Solo)

(Chorus)

I liked it, I would change or not use a few words just for clarity but not by much.
