Uh uh. That won't fly.

Ther are no kings or king's men anymore.

You are young. Write a lovely inspiring song that uses the words that you would use in conversation.

Here is a simple rule:

Songs have to sound natural.

"Like some guy talkin'."

Not like Shakespeare or 18th century poetry.

wow, amanda. It's supposed to be oldtime speak. The music video in my head is set in the old days, so you don't need to tell me my song needs to be re-written, okay? I know what I'm doing. I'm a published writer, so shut up. You obviously don't posess the skills you need to analyze a song and find its meaning. go learn some things first and get back to me.
